Prime Minister İrsen Küçük has said that it was important for the world to know that it was the Greek Cypriot terrorist organization EOKA which responsible for the attacks that took place on the island. He said that motherland Turkey which had prevented the annihilation of the Turks of Cyprus with its timely intervention in 1974 was now bringing water to the island.



Prime Minister İrsen Küçük received the President of the Cyprus Turkish Fighters Association Vural Türkmen and the Secretary General of the TMT Society Ekrem Yurdakul today.



Speaking during the visit, the President of the Cyprus Turkish Fighters Association Vural Türkmen said that the Cyprus Turkish people, as revealed by the latest public survey, will continue its struggle under the roof of their sovereign state.

Türkmen then briefed the Prime Minister on the 2nd TRNC 2nd International TMT Symposium to be held between the 31st of October and the 5th of November.



For his part, Prime Minister İrsen Küçük highlighted the important role the TMT played in the struggle for existence waged by the Turks of Cyprus.



Pointing out that the Turks of Cyprus maintained their struggle for existence thanks to the TMT until Turkey’s timely intervention in 1974, which stemmed from its rights as a guarantor power

He said that the foundations of the TRNC had been laid with the 1974 Turkish Peace Operation, adding that the Turkish Armed Forces safeguarded peace on the island.



The Premier said that motherland Turkey was now preparing to bring peace water to the island.

They are all beleiving that thats the start to bring both together, \i was told yesterday that the troops would be gone by the end of the year. Even the GCs do not like the treatment of the TCs because of the mummy bring so may turkish settlers, now i think 7 to 1. They say after all they want to remain cyproit. we wait and see xx
