paddy all of it. God do I miss it. give me bacon and cabbage any day. Isnt it funny how colcannon and champ was a staple diet now served in really posh restaurants. Im longing for potato bread, wheaten bread, soda bread, tatos. white pudding, oh i could go on but it makes my longing greater. Could just eat a plate of real irish corned beef with champ. xxx

Lilli. Used to run at the sight of Champ. Got it all the time because we could not afford anythin else now we have to have ' anything else ' as we can not afford champ.

The first time my family came to visit after we moved here we were sitting outside having a BBQ. My sister said '' Remember when we were kids and had to go up the garden to the toilet ? We ate inside and s..t outside. But now that you have gone up in the world we s..t inside and eat outside ''.

The next time I went home and into my local the gang all shouted '' Here he is, s..ts inside and eats outside ''.

They have the ability to bring you down to earth with a bump.
