surely you know that whatever happens to people, there is always someone worse off. You can't expect everyone to lose their sense of humour, that won't help anyone.

I'm sure that everyone's heart goes out to all the people in Japan, Africa, everywhere in the world that is suffering. Being miserable won't help them.
