A friend of mine recently got her temporary residency.

She has just shown me the inside back cover:- "Please read the following carefully. If for any reason you wish to stay in Cyprus for more than one month. a) Two weeks after your arrival in Cyprus you will report for registration to the Superintendent of Police of the district in which you reside."

I must admit I never read mine when I got it and wonder if I should dash down the 'copshop' and let them know I've been here since early November last year (this trip)

Does everyone else register with the Police?

I've just read mine and it's 6 years old and it does say I have to report in to the Police Superintendant within 2 weeks of arriving in the country.

I wouldn't worry to much it's only a 10000,0000tl fine for each time you failed to comply )
