As there are so many posts about lost,found and mis treated dogs is there any way they can have a separate part of the forum? The doggy people would know where to look if they had a query. and the non doggy people could concentrate on other aspects of Northern Cyprus life.

Great idea! friends that live in the UK and read this board now call North Cyprus "Dog Island" ! . yes its all very sad, but enough is enough, cant we have a day without a dog post?

Agree completely, there has been the odd day when I've logged on and over half the posts in the top 30 or so are dog related!

So, lovely Ex pats, you would walk/drive past a helpless starving animal on your way to a jolly night of feasting and excess...My God !!I hope the teachings of" Buddha" are right, and you come back as a starving animal,cold, hungry, and without shelter..Have "SOME" decency for God sake!!!!!!1

msg10 i love animals , lamb, chicken , pig , you name it i love them all , sometimes we need to lighten up a little humour sometimes helps to ease your mind , tonight were having pig for dinner , with all the trimmings yum yum love it

It is a real nightmare with so many going back and cant or wont take the dog the loved to bits here back. They become their god and give a death sentance on the road. Road kill, posion, or worse shot. If ony thety think about their actions. I dread going into work to see what present is tied to my chairs. xPlease think twice , you loved them, homed them now you want them to be on the street again NO WAY

All canine posts go to one area - hmmm, a bit like all non-TRNC go to one area, or would that be all house sales go to one area or all football go to one area or only one post a day to advertise the cafe's?



Try this then for a post title : "Free drinks tonight only, no purchase needed!!!"



Hundreds will view it but may be dissapointed when they find the message reads: Lost/stolen canine in Lapta area, free drinks tonight for finder! OR Got to leave my best friend behind when I leave, free drinks for anyone who can look after him/her.



Moderators beware - you are digging yourselves a large hole if you do this - I did not use the "Dog" once by the way so it would stay on the main board!

keep it as it is, there is a dog going to be killed tomorrow as the owner doesn't want it. See Last Chance Saloon post, also how would we know about Tojo or indeed get my Bertie an operation. Lots want to help, We could say categorise football, rugby, cricket , restaurants, bars, sad stories from bad developers etc. It is just a sad state that so many are having to go and in fairness try to re-home them.
