Does anyone know who the sheherd is in the area of the Lanterns at Karaagac? A herd of goats wandered through the development at the bottom of the village this morning but were chased off by dogs, leaving behind a beautiful friendly baby goat. I leave work at 5pm and need to contact the shepherd or find someone to take this baby in. I have a few people trying to find a safe temporary home, but more help will be welcomed.

Please call Jo 0533 8834496

No tag

And although the herd only pass through the site every few weeks, I have never seen a shepherd with them either. My main concern is the dogs that are in the area, but, I have 2 possible places for this goat to go to. Thanks all

There is a farm in one of the valley's just west of Karaagac but he normally rides a donkey, another shepherd (for the life of me I cant remember his name) who uses the pastures between the new petrol station and Karaagac keeps his animals up the dirt track just off the main road towards High View homes,he has a moustache and used to help out ot the old petrol station in Esentepe.

I'll have it if you can't find the owner.

One more addition to the farm.

I like that, a tatoo on your thumb. Is that for real? If so I might get one.

Baby goat re-united with its mother! hooray.

Spoke to Mehmet (the sheep and goat man from Esentepe) this morning he said the goat was not his or the goatherd with the donkey's but he knew to whom it belonged and confirmed that it had been returned to its owner... happy ending for all...

As luck would have it my wife had found Mehmet's pocket knife that he'd lost yesterday and was able to return it to him... so even he was glad of this post or we'd never have thought to speak to him this very day.

Hi sorry, only just got online. I found a local Esentepe man who rescues animals and trys to rehome them, apparently he has a bit of a farm himself. He drove round looking for various shepherds last night until he found the right one. He called me around 7pm to say the lamb was reunited with the herd.

Many thanks to everyone for your help, and to Groucho for confirming.
