Have your dreams in the TRNC come true?

Have you had a successful property experience?

Or perhaps you have found an occupation you love.

If you have a success story, we'd like to hear about it.

There was an Ex-Pat in Cyprus,

Who's House he thought to be priceless,

When the Lawyers had done,

And the Builders had gone,

His Deeds turned out to be worthless.....

RE msg 4, aruzhan: (...) Cyprus Star does not want to pay their journalists (...)

▶ Because they are not journalists. Their bits in that "paper" are sad imitations of journalism and are usually only saved by another photograph of another group of laughing-about-nothing people.

One of the very few writers for The Cyprus Star (with the talent to become a real journalist), Brian Thomas, has left that laugh-or-I-shoot "paper". He's now writing for Cyprus Today. Congratulations, Cyprus Today. Well scouted!

It's great that this has sparked up debate.

Cyprus Star likes to hear feedback.

However, I'm only doing my job in asking for some positive stories. So if people have only negative things to say I can only show respect to their opinions.

I'm leaving you to debate amongst yourselves.

Those who have positive things to share, can contact me. : )

Olivetree,

Good luck with your job and do not listen this this mob. It is not easy to earn a living these days. I had the pleasure of having my pictures printed upside down in both the Turkish and English versions by the big boss but no hard feelings, actually it did give me a tickle

Actually I do have a very good story in the making. I have a speeding ticket and the trial will begin on Monday morning 21st March at Famagusta Court. I can assure you that it will be the most enjoyable hearing of your life. I am hoping to have the police on the run and eventually have the case thrown out. I will catch them out on their unlawful acts. See you there then. Is that a deal?

I have drawn up a list of all those with happy villa/house purchases and will forward them on the back of a postage stamp.
