For the fifth time in the past year, I have been bitten by something that first results in a red ring around a tiny little blister. This over the next few hours develops into a huge blister. This blister takes weeks to heal. It is very sore but doesn't itch. I have asked a few local TC friends and thay have not seen this but have advised me to go to a chemist by Barbaroslar as the guy there is well versed in insect bites.

but does anyone here have any ideas or remedies. The blister leaves a horrid scar.

Not much help I know but I used to get the same thing from v ery small ants! The only cure I found of any use was the local Cetryn, it did not cure the blister (don't scratch it what ever you do) but it did stop it from itching!

Always at the start of spring the little bleeders seemed to make a bee line for my hands and always bit the bits you need to use!! Squashing them flat did not help the itch but sure did give me satisfaction - moved house now and no ants here so maybe I will be blister free this time. Good luck.
