A Swiss man, on holiday in Dublin, needed directions. He was standing outside Davy Byrne's pub when he saw two youths walking by so he stops them and asks, 'Entschuldigung, koennen Sie Deutsch sprechen?'



The two lads look at each other blankly and stare back at him.



'Excusez-moi, parlez vous Français?' He tries.



The two continue to stare.



'Parlare Italiano?' Still absolutely no response from the two lads.



'Hablan ustedes Espanol?' The Dublin lads remain totally silent.



The Swiss guy walks off extremely disappointed and downhearted that he had not been understood. One of the boys turns to the second and says, 'Y'know, maybe we should learn a foreign language!'



'Why?' says the youth, 'That guy knew four languages, and it didn't do him any good!'

hIall, couldnt get any shamrock, had to do with a bunch of clover, not even a four leafed one amongst them. Had a drop of the bl;ack stuff to go with champ and real corned beef.Have a great night all and paddywack enjoy your day xxxxxxxx Stipid me forgot to put a bet on at Cheltenham x

You'd have loved it, you could even have had a wee dance and the big lad, a go at the bohron.



They even stamped the head of the Guiness with the shamrock, great stuff. Didn't fancy the green lager though!

Phyl I will try. Bally he would love those days again when I had him on the bohron. The green beer is only a wee bit of colouring. I heard today of a restaurant in England where the irish stew is green. Do they think we all are, havent we shown them., Mike have faith xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Still to you all celebrate in style. We know how to do it. God get to get my dancing shoes on they will expect a riverdance rendition. Im up for it xxxxxx
