Paphos airport taxis

Hi all,

coming to north cyprus next week, but will be flying into paphos and staying in town a couple of nights.

Anyone know if there is a bus that goes from the airport into town and what number it might be? or a LEGAL taxi service at a reasonable price? At this point I have no idea how much I should expect for the two of us to get a taxi to town!

apart from paphos , which other town are you going to ? all ranked taxis are legal .

There is a bus service but it only stops along the coast road in Paphos doesn't do personal drop offs so it depends where you are staying in Paphos, you may need to get a taxi after getting off the bus.



Thousands of taxis at the airport, ask for a fixed price before you get in, they are thieves, they never use their metres and sometimes chance their arm, you can feel like you've been mugged.Probably cost you about 40 euro.

We are in Paphos for two nights before heading to Lapta to stay with family (hired a car for that part of the trip.) We're will pass through Nicosia/Lefkosia going north.



Guess we'll take our chances with the taxis and buses, thanks for the advice

Try Eva I use them to collect me from Larnaca which is £40 each way. They do collect from Paphos I think they charge £100.00 each way. I can also recommend their hire cars. 0090 5338607171 or info@evarentacar.com I have always found them reliable I would phone them they have a habit of not answering their e mails and just turning up at the airport.

Don't hire a taxi from the south to the north, there have been some horrific stories, many people just left at the border. Bellapais rent a car charge £100 each way, they are relaiable and on time, have full taxi insurance. Tel 0392 815 7510

try a1rentacar, they do Paphos and larnaca airport daily and are very reasonable.



They have a south and north te numbers...

is it not the case any trnc " legal "taxis get 3rd party only insurance at the crossing point ? I have seen them cover the t up on their number plate and remove the taxi sign why do this if they are legal ?
