The big 1001 shop on the way to Ercan Airport have rolls of it in stock. Through the main doors and on your left half up on the ground floor.

Our friends have just moved here and they have loads of bubble wrap and boxes they would like to sell, give them a try if you have had no luck sourcing stuff already.

Just use old newspapers. Just as good and better for the environment (depending on what you are packing, but for normal household effects, old news print is normally just fine)

People think bubblewrap is the ultimate packing material but we hardly use any. Paper is just as effective (if used correctly)

Do not put bubblewrap on anything that has a polished/laquered finish. Do not wrap paintings (oil based especially) in it. Nor put it on any leather or leatherette type material.

I have seen it put on these by inexperienced packers and you would be surprised by the damage it does.

John.
