My laptop keeps farting! I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's true! Every couple of minutes, this little farting sound comes out (of the laptop, not me)...any ideas what's causing this?



And this is not a joke or wind up....

What applications are running on Task Manager (point at the grey horizontal bar at the bottom of your screen (the task bar), right click and select Task Manager). I'm wondering if you've got something running in the background that's making noises! In Task Manager you should have listed only the applications you want to be running at the time. For any unwanted ones click on them to highlight and then select 'End Task'.

aha!!!! That's it!! I have an extra external fan to keep it cool, and that's what's making the noise...now, to fix it....?
