Fencing

We would like to put some wooden slatted fencing on top of our stone garden wall, about a metre high ( the fencing not the wall) to improve privacy and to train plants up. Canyone recommend who would supply and fit, plus approx cost per square metre? We are in the Alsancck area.

Andy would highly recommend metal not wood as the wood will discolour and go rotten very quickly. If you live here and can maintain it thats fine but be prepared to paint it every year.

We will have to have wood to match our other railings. We realise that a fence would either have to be painted or creosoted.

Hi shefpants, dont mind me asking but are you legal to work here ?? because if not be careful about punting yourself on here as some have been done already.

Mickey laine is one of the best by the way and his fences last for years as we have one and it was put in seven years ago and is still going strong, something to do with the concoction he soaks the wood in, he has his workshop opposite Kib-tek power station in the valley down the dirt track

Thanks for the warning. We are in the setup process and have a company registered (KEW Trading Ltd). At present we are only quoting (free) in preparation for full registration. We would expect to be able to carryout works within the next few weeks.
