Has anyone any idea why flags are flying at half mast this morning at the airport also on the goverment buildings.

As said above flags have been at half mast from 18th to 21st in Turkey and the TRNC as a mark of respect also prior to any football matches which will be held this week, people will observe a minute of silence for those who lost their lives in Japan.
