Hello Sureyya,

we are regular guests of your Jazz-Club on the weekends because we love the band an it is a nice place there....

BUT - we are all the time surprised at the bad condition form the surroundings there...mostly something is broken or looks like a building site - last time we had to go over wooden boards to reach the Club...

I thought everyting is brand new....

Kind regards

Good afternoon,

I understand that it seems alot of things are still not finished which is true but generally this is in the port area where things are being improved. The port area was opened last year and as you all know this is a brand new hotel so alot of things are still be tested and due to this the managers of the hotel felt its best to improve some areas. The work in the port has started and will be finished as quick as possible. The jazz bar remains open and also ganita (turkish and greek menu) and mey balik (fish) restaurant remains open.

I will talk with the management about the irish pub and maybe we can put together some events on. As you may know Jacqui Smith was the manger of the pub but is now the manager of guest relations, so we will be working together.

Kind regards

Jock

How many places have you tried that with now? Did it work anywhere? If so send me an email and I'll give it a try as well!

gr-cratos,

We went in for a look around in October with some friends who live in Dubai and have been in the top hotels there, they were amazed by the luxury and decor of the hotel, as were we. The strange thing was that there wasn't any other people there, all the bars were deserted. We didn't even have a drink because there wasn't any ambiance, plus the fact that the drinks are so expensive.

Perhaps if the drinks were more affordable, people would be happy to go there.

Good luck in all that you have planed for your entertainment so far..Thanking you.
