Nige

Why are you comparing prices against Sainsbury''s, Tesco's and Asda?

You are in the TRNC not the UK. All of the aforementioned supermarkets hold their suppliers to ransom and they are shifting millions of cauliflowers on a daily basis. Not a fair comparison in my view.

Lemar cauliflower is 3.90ytl per kilo. I agree with AJ , we have a very small vegetable patch next to us where a farmer is growing molohiya. When you see the amount of work involved 7 days a week I can appreciate why some vegetables here are expensive. Plus you can't beat a bit of cauliflower cheese!

Go and buy frozen.

The quality is better and per kilo works out a lot cheaper.

Dave

I don't think our Nige likes to shop in the North, its a shame because he would find it an interesting experience if he only put himself out a little bit more.

I never place adverts for anyone and I couldn't comment on prices down South or in UK for that matter but Dolmaci is by far and away the cheapest place I have been to recently. I cannot see given the costs of travelling South plus the bolshy buggers on the border that it is worth the exercise. Try Dolmaci!!!!
