Sorry to become a moaner but i have had a bad experience regarding a kebab purchased at mollys cafe, when i complained a large bald turkishman was rather rude to me then to try and calm me down attempted to flirt with me. undercooked meat is wrong, also to rectify the situation dont microwave it for me cook a fresh one please. but there will not be a next time sorry but i vote with my stomache when it comes to food.

You clearly do NOT!Otherwise,you would not have eaten it,regardless how hungry you may have been or however much it may have cost.

I was in catering bussiness for 20+ years.It is impossible to please everyone,though one must try all the time.



Why did you eat it when you clearly knew it was not a fresh one but been in microwave?

I wouldn't say it was flirting at all but trying to be nice because one was embarresed of what one did and not happy about it.

Be brave enough to go there again,I'd very much doubt they'd make the same mistake again.I had gained alot of regular customers through those incidents.

Im sad to hear this as Mollies s a well known and respected eating place. Did you let molly know as she is the first to change anything wrong. So many here love the place and rightly so. When we had our restaurant in town we often went there. I cant bweleive anything could go so wrong as I know the chef x

So is suzvr not allowed an opinion . It's true you can't please all the people all the time . But it doesn't mean she can't complain. Sometimes when you order food at any eatery it's not all ways up to scratch and standards do slip.

Always make sure kebabs are well cooked before eating, if unsure ask for it to be put back on the charcoal grill. It should be piping hot on arrival. Anything with mince should always be well done.

What were the symptoms? Vomiting/stomach pains/diarrhoea. Did you see a doctor that advised you it was food poisoning? Or was the thread title designed to cause controversy?

I having eaten at Molly's ,many many times, over the years, I can say with all honesty, I have never had anything to eat there I thought was iffy or other wise.



Staff are lovely food is good, and always a smile............



I suggest you go and see Molly in person rather than try to harm her buisness on this forum.



With regard to flirting with you, that would be your perception, maybe not the intention.

I have also been to mollys many times over the years, and find the service very pleasent. I think it is a nice touch when molly pops out and asks if all is well etc...



The food might have been cooked bad but like mentioned just ask for it to be put back on the grill, with ref to this being you first post but you have visited the site many times...



Surely you must have had a few + things happen and maybe you could have posted a few of them rather then publicly trying to damage a busniess...



I have nothing against freedom of speech, just dont like people joining posting something negative then dissapearing....

No discrimination as you have been allowed to post. The fact of life is that we have had multiple occurrences of new members posting for the first time just to to run down a business and then disappear.

We have eaten at Molly's only a couple of times as with a business to run we don't have time. Have to say, Molly's came as recommendation and we were not disappointed. We have been here nearly eight years and I think this is the only time I have heard a bad comment on Molly's. If you have a problem you have to speak to the owner direct. Don't come on a bulletin board announcing it. It can damage businesses greatly.
