World famous ancient ruins bursting with spring flowers, brilliant sunny skies, tender breeze from the deep blue sea and erudite company – that was my perfect day at Salamis!



Hans, again thank you for your enthusiasm, encyclopaedic knowledge and passion for the history of North Cyprus you shared with all us today!

We would like to second Clarissa2's comments about Hans' Salamis walk today. We learnt so much about the site and Hans shared his immense knowledge with us in an interesting and relaxed manner without swamping us with dates. No guide book can compare. Most enjoyable day. Hans, thank you yet again.

It was my pleasure to introduce you to some background of (Northern) Cyprus' ancient and Medieval past. This island and especially my beloved North deserves all the interest in its priceless historical remains we can raise. Thank you very much for your company and kind words!
