Looks like Mr Talat his bringing up some home truths that are not going down to well with the status Quo.Fell sorry for the guy, but he certainly is showing a lot of balls.

Gilken,

Mostly greek stuff i know this will obviously one sided. But also on Euro news web-site.They dont like the fact that he is speaking his mind on old issues and promises that were never delivered to n.c. by the eu and g.c.,

Paul.

Thanks for the link.

Overall seemed a pretty good speech by Talat.

I guess the question is did they take any notice of it or not.

I read there were only 3 people in the audience, Cristofias managed to get 5. Seems that interest is low outside of Cyprus!

I don't think that much of his economic management and planning skills judging by recent developments in the TRNC but diplomatically he generally comes across well.

Hi All,

I thought it a good speech. Whether it went home or not remains to be seen.

I remain confident of an agreed settlement.

Wyn,

Ever the optimist.Nothing wrong with that.I understand that there is some sort of publicity stunt before the talks this week with the so called "elders" who consist of Carter,Tutu and Brahimi.Anything that drums up support has to be good news.I think it will take more then the three musketeers to sort this one out though.Still stranger things have happened at sea,

Paul.
