We brought our dog out in November last year, hubby's arranged it himself. Got info from DEFRA and our vet liaised with TRNC. Flew with Turkish Airlines Manchester, Istanbul, Ercan. Great service and care all the way and just paid the cost of the flight, paperwork and vet bill. Cannot remember the total cost but was not too bad, less than 500GBP. On arrival dog had to go to quarantine kennels until released by vet on Monday morning then 3 weeks home quarantine. A bit of chosen around to get everything organised in UK and for flight but well worth it in the end. problem is finding an airline taking animals into Ercan now, but you can also organise to get in via south I believe, ask Tom at flight holidays.

We paid 450 pounds to bring our dog over with Thomson. We flew into the south, crossed border, declared dog with the relevant paperwork (we already had import licence) and were escorted to the vet dept. very simple and efficient way of doing doing it. You need to contact Thomson cargo and they arrange everything at UK end.
