Roland at the vets - So rude

Had the misfortune to meet a thoroughly objectionable person at the vets today. He was both rude to my wife, who unfortunately answered the phone (the staff were tied up with an emergency) and the receptionist when he arrived at the vets. In a most rude and agressive manner he complained that nobody had advised him that they had moved (6 months ago) and that there should have been a sign on the old premises.



As the vets was quite full, it would have been more appropriate to have a quiet word rather than loudly voicing his complaint.



Hopefully he will seek another vet, so I will not have to meet him again, or he could return with a bunch of flowers and apologise to the receptionist for being so rude.

But he is right, it's the way he approached it that is wrong.



Hopefully, the vet will take heed of what was said, as this situation could have easily been avoided.

Sorry to disagree, but he is not right. When the vet first moved, they placed a sign on the old premises. There move was also published in the papers. How long should they continue to tell people they have moved.



You are right about his approach, and that is the point I was trying to make.

id just like to say that i was in the vets at the time this happened and must say that this man was indeed very very rude and the rceptionist tried several times to answer him but he continued to rant and rave we had sat there for over a hour as there was a emergercy and didnt moan [ if it was your dog being operated on you would expect compassion ]but this man came in and said his appointment was at 3.45 why he not being seen his dog just needed ticks removing and frontline ,he was a complete idiot for how he behaved and should be ashamed at how he was going off .there were 2 smll children in surgery 1 of which was mine .that didnt need to hear him shouting ,the recepionist dealt with it in a very perfessional manner and is no way to blame ,this man was called rowland but id like to call him ROWLAND PRATT .

negative nick please let me enlighten you as you were neither there or heard the abuse ,the receptionst tried several times for him to be to be quite and to take it out side and not in front of 12 customers , he wouldnt stop the abuse and i intervened and told him to be quite and understand the situation he then became agresive towards myself and shouting to any one to come outside to sort us out ,no one claiming to be have a go heros belive me if i wanted to have ago i would and would not need being a hero as you call it to do it just stating that he was rude and arrogant and unaceptable in the situation given

He sounds a bit thick to me; I would assume that after six months the people taking over the old premises would have taken any signs down. There are defiantly some very ugly people around, fortunately in the minority.

Hopefully the vet is in touch with all the other vets in TRNC and will have this ill mannered moron black listed. Then the problem will not re-occur. Put his name around the doctors as well!

hope this was not at pets cross as these people are the best so helpful and would not deserve this as they do so much for people turning up with there dog cat saying its a sray and they do this service for nothing post his name and i will make sure not another freby advise

it was at petcross his name was roland and had a spaniel ,and message 17 not dogs faault at all but he moaning that vet didnt tell them personally they had moved but he not that great a owner as he would have had his dog need worming and frontline in the 6 mths plus that he was moaning about is that the vets fault to o bet he would say it was .some one told me hes always in bar at ozankoy perhaps his bad mood was cause he missed one at bar cos of waiting just a thought sooo glad hes not my neighbour
