Lots of local donkeys though, but you need to pay 13 months rent on the year

Chriswife.... if you can find a car at under £1000 it is most certainly going to be one that you would not want to own! I am afraid you will have to up your budget considerably to get anything worth having. Also, and obviously I don't know your financial set-up but if things are tight please do remember that the cost of living in the TRNC is very high nowadays and not the 'cheap' place that it used to be.

Chriswife are you sure TRNC is the place for you? not good on a tight budget heading into the winter, I think you need to ask a lot more questions about what the situation is here, if you did not know about cars, there are lots of other things you need to know too.

Please before you make the move check out much more about it here.

The cost of living here is much higher than in the UK. Even if you shop mainly in the South its still not cheap! The UK is still cheaper!

Are you sure, you want to see what the cost of living is like in Oxfordshire !!!!

Ok so electricity is more expensive and some food articles in N/Cyprus are not cheap But still far cheaper than the south of England.

I echo some of the other thoughts on here and advise you to do some more homework before you make this move.
