We are now in our second year of using Extend for our internet connection. The service provided by Gwyn and the Extend team has been excellent. We went to England recently for a week and when we returned the signal seemed to be much poorer. One phone call to Gwyn and she arranged for the tech guys to come and look at the problem. They replaced our receiver on the roof and the signal is now brilliant.

Extend have always seems to get a lot of stick but apart from a 2 week blip in 2009 (I think) when 90% of the customers were off, we've always been very happy with them, speed OK most of the time so that we are able to tune to TV via My Private Network (although sometimes there is a lot of buffering) . We started yonks ago when the original name was Ayza.net . Gwynn informs us of any deals on offer. Provided someone doesn't build a 20 storey hotel between us and the base satellite dish on a nearby hotel, then we have no complaints at all. (Famous last words!!)

What a load of rubbish Extend was this evening, after listening to uninterrupted live radio commentary of the cricket World cup via 6m's vpn for most of the day, they went off line just before the last few exciting overs finish.

I used to be Extends biggest supporter but now i am having second thoughts to try and get someone around to do anything is a real uphill battle.

I guess now to big and too busy. Customer care gone to the dogs.

Hippo if you use Gwyn as an extend agent then there is no problem getting support from Extend.

I totally agree with Msg 6. Use Gwynn as your intermediary and you'll have no probs contacting them. I also pay her rather than through the bank. When I used to pay through the bank I would sometimes get a reminder from Extend because the bank had hung on to the money until the very last minute.

I don't use Extend but I called Gwyn this morning with what turned out to be a router problem (I didn't realise it was only 8am when I phoned) and she managed to get hold of Dan (who was on a roof with his dad repositioning a dish that had gone off kilter in yesterday's high winds). Dan called me back within the hour to talk me through what I had to do. The support you get when you use Gwyn as agent for your provider is second to none.

Extend has always been good for us, telephone customer service too. In any case, for unlimited downloading it's also best value around at the moment for a 12 month contract.
