IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION that the EX Mr Fly(john stapleton) is allowing potential customers to think he IS "Mr FLY".



There is NO WAY this man has anything to do with the REGISTERED COMPANY "Mr Fly"(fly screens)

All our documentation carries the registered name,number & logo.Ask to see this.Our 19yr old TWINS will be more than happy to reassure you that we are the genuine company.

surely if he's the original company - he's got years of experience and loads more satisfied customers than you ??



one of the drawbacks of buying an existing business from an ex second hand car salesman on devil's island....



maybe you could take him to court ?

when his TC business partner made a pass at a lady friend of mine.

Needless to say his skills at pulling her were as almost bad as the fly screens they fitted............

having seen his products and the eye watering prices, i'd give them a 4/10............. (and that's a neg nick 4/10 not any old 4/10)

if Mark Jehan is still doing them, i'd be making a bee line for him - good old fashioned service, decent quality product, well fitted

The twins and family who now own this company provide an excellent service, we used them last year and can say I would use them again without hesitation.



1. They always turned up on time.

2. Screens were well fitted and are still as good as new.

3. made no mess.

4 Were polite and well mannered.

I understand that John Stapleton sold his business lock, stock barrel and NAME. iF he now regrets it and thinks he has a legal right to use a name he has already sold, you should lgeally challenge him.



We used John Stapleton the then Mr Fly on 5 Democrasi Sokak, KUlaksiz 5, his work was not good, he got glue

on just about everypart of the window frame. The seals came off because the glue was inappropriate for the job. The last time we saw him was on a Friday when he promised to return on the MOnday to do an adjustment.we never saw him again, and frankly were glad to see the back of him.

I told him his work was crap and he said he would not speak to me if I swore, educated in a monastry??



decandyl speak highly of the new legal Mr Fly, would you be interested in quoting for only two patio windows and a couple of bathroom windows?



The name Mr FLy is unfortunate because I always think, fly by name, fly by nature, and of course as already stated fly by night.

When you purchase a business you also purchase the name ' the good will ' and are legaly entitled to use it as long as you wish.

Normal standard business practice.

THANK YOU ALL for the comments.Good or bad--they are duely noted.Not one bad thing said about us and we are proud of that.all the bad stuff is about the original company.

YES we were stupid to buy the name -that is all we did get (not even a tool).Only a few days went by when we realised that we MUST irradicate the bad workmanship and poor customer service inherited from the old firm. By producing excellent manufacturing & fitting and having good communication with our VALUED customers,we now have a good name. We do not do a "sales pitch".The Twins come & measure,give advice on the types of screens but at the end of the day ,it's the CUSTOMERS CHOICE--it's their hard earned/saved £ !!We are just an ordinary working family that live here all year round and give what the customer expects-QUALITY,HONESTY & RELIABILITY.

nothing new there then eh?

he is still at his property by all accounts ,but it is up for sale.I am sure a few would like to see him for various reasons.

I wonder if he will do a "BOG-OF" ad next week (and do us all a favour??!!!!)

We are not in the slightest bit concerned that he is trading,so long as he doesn't use our name or con people into thinking he is us as that is definitely a case for the cops.
