Foreign Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün has completed his contacts in Britain and returned to the Republic today.



During his visit to the country, he gave interviews to several local and Turkish radio stations and briefed members of the British House of Lords on the history and the course of the Cyprus problem.

He told them that the international community, particularly the European Union and Britain have deeply disappointed the Cyprus Turkish people.

“Despite all the tragic experiences, the Turkish side has never given up its determination towards finding a just and comprehensive solution to the Cyprus problem with the aim of preventing future generations from reliving the bitter experiences of the past.” Özgürgün said.



Explaining that despite the negative attitude of the Greek Cypriot side, it was always the Cyprus Turkish side that was being punished; the Minister said the Cyprus Turkish people were disappointed by the EU, Britain and the international community because of their failure to fulfill their promises to lift the unjust isolations imposed on them.

demoly you need to wake up . the UK government past labour and now coservative wants to end the isolation of turkish cyprus and wants to implement the free trade agreement that was agreed post annan but the idiotic EU accepted the dick heads from south of the line and they have used there privilaged membership of this club to veto anything and everything that would help turkish cypriots .



the end game is close and im glad i invested in the TRNC, watch this space as they say

And re: Ozgurgun, he is like a scratched record. The Greek Cypriots are bad, Turkey good, Britain and EU bad, TRNC government doing its best.
