Please please can somebody help. We are desperate to find a home or homes for our two dogs. We have to return to UK as my husband has Alzheimers and we need to get home before he worsens.

The dogs are North Cyprus Mongrels, very lovable and faithful. They are both spayed and fully inoculated and come complete with beds, kennels, toys and all that dogs need. We also have a supply of Frontline to go with them. We are looking for a loving, caring home. They live indoors, but are happy to be tied while we are shopping etc, but they do like to run and play in the garden. Please somebody help, time is getting short for us.

Thank you Spider. I appreciate your good wishes. Yes, I am having a very worrying time. I really need to rehome our gorgeous dogs, but as yet have had no offers. They are both such lovely natured dogs, but then most of them are here. So you can see I am still desperately seeking to rehome them. Whoever has them will love them as we do. They are real characters.

Please Please somebody help.

How desperately sad for you both - Alzeihmers is distressing not just for the person suffering, but their nearest and dearest. I wish you both the very best on this difficult journey ahead...........I also hope you manage to find a home for the dogs, it must be heart wrenching for you they have to be left, but your husband will need all your attention. Was there not a lady advertising recently, who fostered dogs? Maybe she can take them on if you have to leave before they are sorted........until a new family are found? As others have said, pictures may help somewhat

Hi MsGarnet, Thank you for your lovely reply. I have put their photos in a lot of places in the Ozankoy area. I also have them in my car, but I am not very clever on computers and as I am not now on my own computer (moved out last week) I am in a bit of a limbo. I don't remember seeing the thread about a lady fostering until a home is found, any info on that would be very welcome.

My phone number is JEAN 0533 848 8117. Any help would be appreciated. Time is running out.

Hi I really do feel for you my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers about 12 years ago and is in the very latter stages so I can understand what youare going through.Surely somebody out there can help this lady in her hour of need and rehome her 2 beloved dogs as believe me she has got enough to worry about.

Believe me BBB, (Msg 11) I'm sure someone would if they could. Unfortunately those of us who are dog lovers and live here permanently have in some case, taken on more dogs that in the normal course of events, we would have done and cannot cope with any more. They cost an awful lot of money to feed and the Vets bills are going up all the time. Not to mention the cost of putting them into kennels if ever we want to go away. In our case, we have only been away as a couple once in five years, purely down to the cost of kenneling them. The heart may be willing but the purse just isn't. I'm sure I'm not the only person in this position.

I am so sorry Halloitsme - my health has prevented me coming back to Cyprus for a long time (though the day will come again) so I'm not totally up to speed on who is who and where - that said, somehow the name Daisy Dukes comes to mind? (could be TOTALLY wrong-in which case apologies DD) but hopefully someone else on this forum could recall a thread about someone who was/could foster dogs

I am still looking for a home for our two dogs, Lottie and Alice. They are such good dogs, and they bring a great deal of pleasure to us. Sadly, we cannot take them with us, as we are going to an apartment in UK.

Please will somebody come forward. I am beginning to tell them they face the needle, something they DEFINITELY DO NOT DESERVE. But it is beginning to look like the only option left open to us. I am beginning to lose heart.

Please Please ring Jean on 0533 848 8117. Thank you.

Hi Jean a daft question I suppose but if you gave a good donation to Kar to help towards their up keep for say 1 month would they take them especially because of your husbands Alzheimers?

Sorry to say this bigbadbob but it probably would be better if they were put to sleep kindly. It would be an awful shock for two dogs who have been used to a loving home to have to live up at the KAR kennels with virtually no hope of finding another home. It's an awful situation I know, but at the end of the day you have to think what is best for them.

I do wish you the best of luck, Jean & hope you are able to find them a good home.
