Too cheap, go with 20TL with a glass of wine or beer, tea & coffee. Is it just vegetarian Cyprus food or including my favourite, cig kofte?

This is a really good idea. Are you planning to do this in the summer months? I would be interested to come along though I will only be there for 4 weeks. My 12 year old son enjoys cooking he would like to make Kofte, macaronni with helium and boreks. Would we both be able to come along?

Brinsley This is Turkish cooking by I assume Turkish Cyoriots, Muslims who do not drink, how insulting your message was.

and for once something is being offered at a decent cost.. Why Brinsley would suggest that it is ".. too cheap..." and try to double the price is beyond me. Well done to Fez for offering something without taking it to the limit.

I went to see Fez in action with her friend this morning and what a super pair of ladies they are.

They explained how to buy, prepare and cook 'Kolakas' which was great. How many times have you looked at it and wondered what to do with it, I have regularly.

We also got to taste it all at the end .... wonderful!!

The lesson was only 10tl so it would be nice if a few more people were interested as I would hate to see them give up due to lack of interest and 10tl isn't much for a lesson.

Please call Fez if you are interested.

Anyone can cook, or try in my case.

Give Fez a call and book your place, the class is held on Tuesday mornings at 10am in Girne.

I am off to the market today to buy my Kolakas for dinner tonight!

Hi Deniz1

I know that Fez doesn't come on here very often, she claims she is computer illiterate.

Call her on 0533 8627549.

Fez explained that she wants to keep the classes going until it gets very hot then maybe take a break and restart after the hottest months though if she has enough interest she may well be persuaded to change her mind - who knows!
