Does anyone know any good (cheap!) car hire companies from Larnaca airport?

not sure you can get cheap car hire and you would not have full insurance nd may have to pay extra to repatriate car after an accident. I have found that Pacific doing taxi to NC and then Pacific care hire is very reasonable and is now my prefered method,

Try this company for price http://www.economycarrentals.com , they are the cheapest that I can find, used them lots of times and never had a problem, cars are good and they do not mind you taking them into the North but once again remember insurance is only 3rd party and they emphasise if you break down or have an accident it is your responsibility to get the car back.

Would agree with message 2. There are a number of taxi firms/car hire companies in the North that will collect you from Larnaca and offer a discounted price for the journey to Kyrenia if you hire a car from them. It also takes the gamble out of hiring a car in the South and then worrying that it will break down/be involved in an accident in the North, when it will be down to you to get it back over the border.

I have hired in the south before, but not for a number of years. Actually had a car badly damaged in the North, repaired under the insurance bought at the border and handed back to the hire company in Larnaca - nobody was any the wiser !! Just actually wanted to see if there were any companies we had not heard of, Economycarrentals looks good - thanks spireite.
