This has just been emailed to me! Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following employee statistics: 29 have been accused of spouse abuse 7 have been arrested for fraud 9 have been accused of writing bad cheques 17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses 3 have done time for assault 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges 8 have been arrested for shoplifting 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits 84 have been arrested for drink-driving Which organisation is this ? It's the 635 members of the House of Commons!

I don't think so jock. Besides the majority probably all suffered some terrible childhood abuse. Poor little mites To cut a long story short.....had a local Conservative candidate try to allign himself to a cause I was involved in. One minute he was there, next he was gone. He had been expunged for having an extensive, elaborate and expensive gun collection for which he didn't have a licence. That didn't make him a bad person

Wyn You would fail in your quest to be in such 'illustrious' company. You could not possibly sink this low, it's way too far to fall!

Chessman, Whilst I find the post amusing I feel that it is somewhat misleading... At anyone time there are 635 MPs but these "crimes" refer to a moving feast... Over what period of time were these statistics collected? And how many MPs passed through on their way to the humiliation of being cast aside at the ballot box?

Groucho. It was posted as it was sent to me. It was funny, regardless. I can't believe you researched it. Who cares, just laugh!

It took me thirty seconds to find it.... hardly research! As for finding it funny... I already said it seemed amusing but when you think about it it's not because it's just wrong.... It's not a joke it's meant to be an amazing fact but turns out to be just made up nonsense and hardly worth the effort... sorry. 2/10
