Has anyone travelled by train from Konya to Istanbul as I am trying to find out if they run everyday in October. Perhaps ukturk could answer this as you live in Turkey.
Many thanks.

Any special reason for a train. The long distance busses do the trip faster and are more reguar. That said, I did the jureny from Istanbul to to Kayseri and thoroughly enjoyed it. that was an "express" train. Later in my journey I took a local train, and that was a different adventure again. Have a look here http://www.whatson-northcyprus.com/cyprus_overland/12.htm

Also the long distance busses can do a detour if needed
Some of the rail journey's in Turkey are currenly closed for maintenance.
One major route was with less than 72 hours notice to regular travel agency users.
Yes you guessed it we can help.

Thanks ukturk.
I did visit the web site on times etc but needed to confirm that they were still the same so again thanks for the info. Is Gaziantep in Konya or a seperate town. I suppose a taxi or bus from Tasucu will take me to the right place.
