If you remember a few weeks ago we found a beautiful husky wondering aroung Yesiltepe /Illgas area. He seemed to belong to someone who said they were going to build him /or her a run. Well guess what its back on the road minus its collar this time. We cant approach it as it runs off but left food. This is the second day of seeing it running with the other strays around. If th e owner sees this he is in his usual place or call me on 05338336911 I can show you. I feel so sad as today a puppy i was feeding I found dead x Please if you do own this beautiful dog keep him in, that road is dangerous as i found out to my cost with bertie x

Lilli;

Pop into yummies and ask for Cennap,his wife(my niece) loves huskies and she has 10s of them.She might be able to re-home it.

These people are not humans.

Linda and I would love to have a dog but work and travel does not allow us the time. If any one can not commit 100% to an animal, then forget about even thinking about owning one. To get one and then turn it out on the street to me is the lowest of the low and these people should be named and shamed.

People like Lilli, and others that care for these discarded animal's get my vote every time.

Lilli, there are times when I really, really regret not being able to read Turkish and this is one them. There is an A4 notice with photograph on one of the pillars at the entrance to Karaoglanoglu Lemar. The photograph is clearly of a Husky, (with dark racoon colouring around the eyes) but I don't know whether it is advertising the Husky for sale or lost!! There is a telephone number to ring though. Having said that, it does appear that the owner doesn't want it back because the collar has been removed? BTW the house next door to the Vet on the main Alsancak-Lapta road breeds them, have you checked with her?
