It's is a hand woven traditional Mayan hammock, these hammocks will be soon available from selected outlets , each of these hammocks are hand woven and take from 2 weeks up 3 months to produce just one,

They are produced by a small Mayan family business passed on from one generation to another for over 500 years , they come come in amazing vibrant colours and sizes no two hammocks are alike.

It has also been scientifically proven that this type of hammock can give relief to those who suffer from back and neck problems also insomnia

In the Yucatan hammocks replace the common bed which in the hot summer months allows air to pass through its fine weave acting as a form air con.

they are versatile and can be hung from almost anywhere , pergola's , gazebo's trees, we can also offer good quality stands for around the pool and terraces.

pre order your preffered colour see pictures email jnolancyprus@gmail.com

Treat yourself this summer and put some colour in your life.

These hammocks are ok but I have been reliably informed by our manufacture these are mass produced for a larger market using less materials than the tradition hammock.

our hammocks each taking from 2 weeks and up to 3 months if you choose a crochet hammock , they are made by a small family business in Marida who have been making hammocks for generations using high quality materials, triple twist fibre hand woven close weave to give strength and comfort

offering several years of comfort and pleasure with care.

You get what you pay for we are only interested in quality and future business .

mess 23

this family do not work for for the big players as they would have to 'A' give them away at stupid prices 'B' also cut back on quality to meet demand and tight schedules

This is a proud family who are happy maintaing thier own standards being fortunate to control their own destiny as they have done so for generations without the need for outside interference.

example Tesco ,Asda, Morrisons,Marks & Spencers etc do their suppliers make a good margins , I think most people know the answer to that ?

As long as it is cheap who cares were it comes from or how it is produced.

Our hammock are shipped in small qty's to Japan, Sweden and now Cyprus and Turkey

I hope by now you will find the time to rest .

Hi to all interested in the Mexican Mayan made hammocks.

I'm Mexican currently living in the Southeast of Mexico and I work with the people that make the hammocks in Yucatan. I sent hammocks to CaptainJohn and I assure you that they are the best quality nylon and the colours are unvelievably vibrant and do not fade when washed. We also sell comfortable hammock chairs.

Our hammocks are not mass produced and each one is unique, there are other sites that offer hammocks cheaper but they are not the best quality. Our hammocks have been proved to last up to 15 to 20 years if looked after as these mayan hammocks are designed for sleeping in and made to last.

As a reply to message 18 and 19, yes, you can find them cheaper but guarantee the quality is not the same as they are targeted at the tourists.

We suply to Japan, Norway, Cyprus and Turkey.

Any questions, please contact me or Captainjohn. We can send pictures of the hammocks and hammock chairs if requested.
