You have to be so careful of pure white cats! they are very prone to skin cancer, especially where the sun is very hoit, and any vet will tell you to put sun screen on their ears every day!

We have a 'Van Cat' and as previously posted they are prone to skin problems as well as other disabilities.

Ours is almost deaf and as a result can get very agitated at times. They have great characters but they are not good mixers in the cat world. All of our other cats steer well clear of our 'Whitey'.
