Just been and had a lovely couple of hours at Sunset in Lapta. We joined here as members 6 years ago and did enjoy it then but it got a bit tatty and the prices went up so we stayed away.

Just thought we would pop in and take another look today, we were so impressed, they have a massive menu and NOTHING is over 10 tl. The whole place is refurbished and has free internet access, games for the kids and is generally a lovely place to go for a few hours.

Our grandkids love it there, mostly because there is a swimming pool, a salt swimming pool and of course the sea, they also loved the watersports when they got a bit older.

I am so glad that they addressed the issues mentioned earlier and now we will be going there regularly again. I would recommend that you all give it a shot, I think you will like it and its certainly easy on the pocket!

Do members still get 20o/o discount on drinks and food. Last time I asked I didn't get a satisfactory reply. I have been a member for 3 years.

Any idea how much it is for membership and what that entitles you to?

I could have put this bit in but did not want to make it sound like an advertisement but I did ask Un Bitlis (the owner) this question today so.....

The membership fees are £200 (lifetime)

This used to give you 20% off your food, drinks, watersports etc.

Now, because he has refurbed the menus and priced every item at 10 tl, it is no longer feasible to discount that by 20% HOWEVER, he is happy to still discount drinks and watersports by the 20%.

We have had our membership money back very quickly.

It is not necessary for you to be a member to go there. Everyone is welcome.

I know that there is NO entrance fee now, but remember that there used to be, I think originally the owner wanted it to be members only but although he got a couple of hundred members it was not really feasible as most of the members were only here for a few months of the year.

I know that he used to have entertainment but do not know about this season, anyway, we went back today and had lovely fish and chips (real potatoes not french fries), bread and a bit of coleslaw and salad garnish for 10 lire. It was very nice and certainly an adequate lunch.

Give it a go. You might even like it. We had today 2 meals, an efes beer and a large apple juice for me, the drinks were discounted by 20% and the total bill was 27 lire. Not bad for a drink and a nice lunch.

Sorry Kavenkoy, meant to answer your question, it is the same menu in the evenings as it is all day.

i was down there yesterday, luvvly by the pool as was sheltered from the wind, good food, would highly recommend it,i asked about fees and if you go in for the day it will be 10tl for adults and children will be no charge, which i think is fair as its a good facility.

Because its in a dip you are so sheltered, but in the summer you get a lovely breeze from the sea, even on hot still days.

I am a bit afraid of the sea so I like to swim in the salt pool overlooking the sea.

Very happy with the place now and Un and Dilek will be seeing a lot of us and our families

All too often here, things go downhill and then close, this place has taken swift remedial action after the public voted with their feet and now its smashing. Fair play to them

Can I just clarify please, its 10TL per adult entry fee, or there is a lifetime entry fee of 200 pounds? and if you are a member, there may be some discounts at the discretion of the management?

It doesn't really pay to be a member unless you live here and visit regularly.

Lovely meal, fish & chips, bread, bit of salad garnish 10tl.

Certainly good value and our grandkids love it because they do watersports in the summer months.

They have also installed a number of electronic games for the kids (sharpshooting etc) which I know our grandkids will love, they are indoors and it keeps them out of the sun for a little while when they get too hot.

I really would recommend that you go down and have a look. Nice and clean, very relaxed, and extremely welcoming to families.

Mess 23 - not at all, I am just full of admiration for them because the business was going down the tubes (their own fault) and they have turned it around.

This is a good lesson for other businesses, never get complacent as the public are a fickle lot and will move on.

Message 7 states that there is no entrance fee. Message 16 states that there is a 10tl entrance fee. Which is right please.
