I already have 3 songs on my computer which I have burned to a CD. Now I want to put those songs onto a laptop from my CD. I copied and pasted them onto the laptop which worked but they don’t play. I can only see an option in VLC to burn the CD.

When you copied and pasted, that would only put a shortcut onto your desktop and would require you to keep the cd in the computer.

What you have to do is save the songs - do you have Windows Media player as well as VLC (just easier if you have) ?
