Is Glasses the 'bible' and is it the retail price they go by? Any recommended importers from the Uk? any idea of cost and length of time?

The general concensous is, Dont bother !!! unless a classic car 25 years or older,You may just as well drop your pants and bend over!

Use the search box at the top of this page and You'll find no end of horror stories.

I totally agree. it is an abosolute nightmare. They just think of a number. They do not apply their own rules. We returned our car to the Uk when they wanted 100 per cent of its UK Glasses value in import duty. Do not believe anything about the duty being 40.04 per cent. You will typically pay as much as the car is worth in the UK or even more
