My reluctance to give to UK animal based charities has been reinforced with news that although the Cats Protection League has £11.2 million at risk in the Icelandic banking crisis, a spokesman said:

"... this news will have no impact at all on the charity's day to day operation. CP is well placed to live within its means - this news makes no threat to the charity's ability to pay bills, salaries, support its network of branches, or most importantly, provide for the cats in its care."



Are charities getting greedy?
