Me and the hubby treat ourselves to a lovely afternoon meal there last week and had the filet steak on spinach and it was the best steak I have ever had.

My friend who doesnt eat meat went there today and had the salmon on noodles and couldnt say enough how delicious it was.. This place is definately worth a visit.. little courtyard is pretty too.

We have been several times and have only ever had very fresh, tasty food, excellent service and good value.

Seafood risotto, salmon noodles, steaks can all be recommended.

..........When next in town give it a try.

Great food, great atmosphere set in a very inviting garden area,in center of Kyrenia, hosted by lovely Isin and her partner Levent, backed up with a very capable kitchen and Bar staff, provided me and my guests with a very pleasant and affordable evening.I highly recommend it.

Thank you so much guys and see you next week for more of the same.Maybe we won't keep you up so late next time loved it.

Aree with all previous comments, a lovely place and very good food. It's a little more expensive than some other restuarants but worth it as you get what you pay for.

Here are their phone number as I couldn't find them on the forum: 03928154753/05428512618/05338763852.

Went there on Friday evening - been to lots of lovely restaurants here from cheap to expensive but for some reason this one has the edge for me - no sea views - no loud live or canned music - just great food beautifully served in a simple courtyard setting with the right amount of unobtrusive attention. Can't wait to go back and try their Sunday menu. In anticipation of other comments - no - I have no financial interest - just like to share a really good experience with other members of the forum. Had one of the best fillet steaks ever!

We went in there the other night and we were the only two in there. But I hasten to add, the atmosphere was still good and the food brilliant. Agree with msg 31 Chill out zone for sure........And the coffee liquer at the end of the meal......................

Will be back def.

But want to try Morrelli.

Went to Morellis (the old Pegasus) three weeks ago - lovely food - very nicely furnished - but only one waiter run off his feet doing his best - not his fault but meant the service was very very slow. Although the courtyard setting was nice you couldn't quite avoid the traffic noise from the main road outside. Also no coffee/brandy/liquors offered at the end of the meal.

Although the food in both restaurants was wonderful I think the little extra touches and the personal service in Stonearch swung it for me For information, Morellis also close on Sundays.

Hi

I have been inside your place just a day or so before you opened and it looked very nice.

I'm trying to get my husband there but at this time he thinks that because of the layout it will probably be really hot in there?

Or do you have some form of cooling??

Went to Stonearches last night and food was ok but nothing to rave about.

The surrounding are ok but not spectacular.

Not a patch on either 14 or Efendi for both food and venue.

Better value and food at Rafters and many other places.

They do not quite seem to know what style of food they are meant to be serving, like Indian meets Mediteranean but falls between, needs more clarity of style to succeed out here.

The service was good and big fans in the courtyard kept us cool, price wise was ok to high.

Meal, two courses for two with drink and wine. 125TL.

how can people write such things that stonearch is a bit expensive

drinking aperitifs and bottle of wine make the price to go up they should have drink water and on a dish has been offered on the house plus coffee and brandy ................

Sylvie, we had Raki to start with plus small bottle of water, a bottle of angora, house coffee and camomile tea, which was charged for. plus two complimentary brandies

As for food, two starters, i mexed mezze very small portion, 1 squid.

Two mains Fillet steak and Salmon on noodles. ask for salad iinstead of potatoes and veg.

Have eaten a quite a few places and still think Stonearches in not a cheap place to eat.

I could have had a similar meal at Efendi for the same price. Efendi are not cheap, they are at the top end of pricing for the area and in my opinion a nicer place to eat.

kareoke , can't even spell it never mind detest it.I haven't felt the need to but in on this thread until now msg47.

Most people have been singing the praises, rightly so.Always enjoyed the place, never any need for entertainment.

People go for the ambience so why kill it.
