Has anyone purchased a property from Gilgamis Builders and if so what are your thoughts on them?

Dear all



Has anybody invoked the compensation payment which is applicable after 12 months from the date of signing the contract ( this is normally £250/calendar month payable by the vendor to the purchaser)?



At the current rate of progress, this would mean in our case, probably 2 years compensation and could quite well exceed the final stage payment. If this was not taken into account, at an earlier stage, it may well be difficult to rely on the good faith of the vendor to honour the terms of the contract!

Our Son bought from Gilgamis in December 2005, still waiting for a communal pool to be started, they would't win any prizes for customer relations.

I believe the pool has been started but it is quite small, I am over at end of june and will take some photos and try to post them on this site.

Thanks Lou, we are over at the end of July and have no hope really of staying the apartment yet.



Do you know that the pool quite small? That is a real worry as there are now so many apartments being built and another block of 2 beds alongside L are also due!? Don't suppose there is anything we can now do about it though and would just like something there rather than the building site it still is at present!
