Heatsaver does keep the heat in the pool as long as the water is not disturbed.

We have this system and it is available here in the TRNC. It is an invisible liquid blanket that halves pool water evaporation saving water and keeping heat in.

The contact in the TRNC is John 0532 340 2230.

Even better is a solar heating 'blanket' which increases heat and just about stops insects and leaves getting in your pool... No dodgy chemicals to boot.

Dan as indicated by crofter Heatsavr liquid is available in Kibris. Not a dodgy chemical. It is a food standard substance manufactured in Canada and now used commercially by leading hotels, sports facilities and pool complexes in UK and in private pools. We hold stock in Istanbul and Kibris and can show you an installation and deliver to you next day.

http://www.heatsavernorthcyprus.com. http://www.heatsaver-istanbul.com.tr or back to source http://www.heatsaver.co.uk . Have a look at the demo video.

Payback on energy cost is 3-6 times heatsaver cost, water evaporation more than halved and CO2 reduction accordingly.

JohnWG@btinternet.com or Kemal on 0542 850 7517 for same day delivery

Do I read it correctly that the initial outlay is for 2 cartons of 4 x 4 litre and costs £788.20. For a 10x5 overflow pool the weekly cost is £8.57, how will that save you money. I have a well and so have no idea how much a tanker of water costs hence the question.

A 2 litre bottle of heatsavr in Kibris costs £61. A 10x5m 50m2 pool requires 50ml each day. 1 ml for each square meter. The prouct is bio degradeable and needs daily dosing. So approx £61 divide by 2000/50 = £1.50 each day. The cost saving is for those who have already decided they want a warm pool in May and are paying to heat.

We have dosing pumps if you need.

I agree with negative nick if you want an easy life and to save money do not have a pool. You could even be in Uk where it was 22C + today

But to be able to swim comfortably in May/October in Kibris and have the sound of a pool on a hot summers day and a dip to cool off and those who wish to conserve ground water and not pay tanker rates ....

I thought heatsaver was no good on overflow pools unless the pump is off all the time?

Wind will effect performance of the olecular film but the concept behind Heatsavr is the ability for the film to reform. Hence the logo of little men holding hands

Kibris has had just a few windy days recently!! I am stuck in UK with smog warnings because of heat and calm. I cant wait to get back.

You will appreciate most pools especially large commercial pools where savings have been measured have overflow.

Provided there is turbulence in the balance tank Heatsavr is recirculated and returns to the main pool. When activity stops, the film reforms.

If there is no turbuence in the balance tank pool skimmers used in fish ponds can be fitted.
