shel56/msg 7: Make sure they are made of beech wood [like 'Ronnies' are] - pine may be way cheaper, but is no good if left exposed to the elements - especially the 'pith pine' that so many 'carpenters' use here!



If you look at the construction carefully, you will see that a decent sunbed is very labour-intensive to make - hence the seemingly high cost.
