Wanted - Metal 2 ton tank

Has anyone got a metal water tank for sale we are looking for one to collect the backwash water from our pool and we are limited in space so the maximum capacity would be 2 tonne. We went to tinpan alley and they told us they would have to charge us for a full size one if they made one up for us specially. So we thought we might ask forum members if they had one for sale.

I think you may be making a mistake if you purchased a second hand metal tank. We had two metal tanks which we decided to move to another position in our garden. These tanks were about five years old. We repositioned them on a firm and level base, refilled them and they leaked in several places. Moving the tanks had caused the seems around the joins to fail. We could not repair them so had to start again with plastic which I'm sure you already know is expensive. Eventualy we got a man with a JCB to dig a big hole and we put a ten ton tank in the ground, save the water in that and purchased a cheap pump to water the garden

Message to thanks for that and maybe you are right and we will go that way, can't dig a hole in thje ground though as the pool and a wall is in the way.
