Now the banks are being nationalised, are all those bankers now down graded to civil servants?

will they be getting civil servants wages now? instead of big city salaries!

I wish that was true fire starter. The fat cats will still get the big bonuses, you see! Some of them will start to get laid off with big pay outs. The companies will say it was in their contract, but wasn't it also in their contract to have a duty to there customers?

No1 Doyen,

Sir Fred of RBS Forced to resign for what amounted to as incompetence!.

Pension pay off £8.4 million paying over half a million pension per annum!.

This is just the start of these executive payoffs for gross incompetence. And all this from

taxpayers funds, with the full support and authorised by a Labour Government!

With pensioners in the UK liable to be dying from the cold this winter............and worried

about their food bills on a basic pension of £58 per week SHAMEFUL!

You are so right Wyn. While he's sunning himself on a beach in the Caribbean pensioners at home will be struggling.

It's an appalling state of affairs.

Its a real good example to set the youngsters - get the right job - dont try just be incompetent then you're set for life while the hard workers struggle! With contracts like that is there any surprise that half of the execs are incompetent???

Can you imagine Sir Humphrey in charge of banking???????

On second thoughts when he asks the questions of why you need a loan it would be a cast iron certainty you would not get. BRING IT ON!!!!

That has been the failing in the world wide sector of banking for too long - giving money away to anybody who asks with no proper checking as to how it can be paid back.
