I have received several letters sent here by registered post with no problems, and you can track it on the internet. Just get it sent to Kyrenia post office takes about 3/4 days. Its a big decision to ask on here for someone to bring it over as anyone could read this posting. A passport is worth a fortune in the wrong hands.

Mark & Ann, generous offers do you know Taz?

I would not like to do this for someone I did not know well (in case fraud is involved). Likewise I would not like to put my passport in the post to a stranger.

Steves suggestion Msg2 seems best

Why not try DHL. This post was on a while ago:

Cafe Boss, next to HSBC bank, now has a DHL franchise and is open for business. so, send your docuements and parcels anywhere in the world from Cafe Boss. If you would like any more information please pop an email to; info@cafeboss.eu We'll keep you posted.

Hope this helps.

Taz - Msg 10 - one instance does not mean it will happen to you and was it in a plain brown envelope registered as in Steve's Msg 2

I would rather go along with John Msg 5 or Sue Msg 9
