Some of those costs were shown in the paper, but there was also the south v the north for costs too1 Wonder if the south have noticed we're in charge yet? and using the euro!!

Well, It doesn't seem to be just the post office. I called Virgin Money for my travel insurance the other day and when I told them I was travelling to Cyprus, to my amazment, I was then asked whether it was the North or South, so I asked whether it made a difference to the premiums? I was told up to last year they were not classing the TRNC as Europe but from the beginning of this year it is classed as Europe so you pay the same as if you were travelling and staying in the south. It turns out that they require to know where you are staying so they can have the correct details provided for you should you need to make a claim (i.e nearest hospital, lawyers etc).
