| Marking respect for those who fought for our freedom and sacrificed their lives should be a perennial observation - I am wearing my poppy and I know so is Richard Brinsley!

| The dawn service at Gallipoli hit BBC World news which must be a first. My TC neighbours couldn't understand why the Kiwi flag was flying over my balcony!
