Your water bill is generally paid to your local muhtar.

I also have Kibtek automatically paid - through Iktisat Bank

if you are in Alsancak you can pay water by DD at the Turk Bank, assuming you have an account there.

You don't to have an account at Turk Bank to pay your electricity bill to Kibtec at their Alsancak branch.

Just lots of money!

Turk Bankasi does Internet Banking.

I let them pay my electricity, mobile, landline and waterbill directly from my account - and never had any problems!

Hi Kantara,

Does it depend where you live.

I have been told that i can't pay my water by direct debit.

I'am in the Tatlisu area.

I agree with Kantara, same bank no probs. Turk Bankasi has a branch in London and they will probably arrange to pay your bills via UK if you haven't a current lira a/c in NC.
