The title says it all. We want a couple of them to put at the entrance to the house, preferably white or beige. We want to sow some flowers in them that will hang down.

Re : Msg1,

elko,

Best ceramic pots I've seen are in the shop near the power station on the coast road.

Have you tried 'Green Garden' near 'Ship Inn' hotel?

I seem to remember that I saw some outside 'Homebase' in the South.

You could buy a couple of pillars and mount the pots on top - that's what we've done.

There's a tiny garden centre right next to the 'Star' newspaper complex - that's where we got our pillars - very Turkish style - not at all like the [vertically convoluted] Greek ones!

Clarissa, do they have white or beige colours or only earth colour which is not what I am looking for? I am happy to go and have a look if there is a chance.

Please keep the suggestions coming. We have already looked at Önder Market, Index, China Baazar, 1001 and Eminaga Garden Centre. The last one had something we really liked but only one and no more in stock. I may go to south Nicosia but very reluctant to do so. My brother in law knows all the places to look there.

I bought the earthenware ones and painted them with Dulux masonry paint, prep the surface well and they'll not need a re coat for a couple of years.

I presume you've been to Dizan 74 near the ship inn where they will make them to your own specification if you can't find one elsewhere.

Elko2, the one opposite power station on the way to Esentepe has loads of choice, more than I've seen anywhere else.

Re; Msg 4,

elko,

They had nice light caramel - couloured ones ( like in The Dome & Pia Bella Hotels) as opposed to terracotta , which go beautifully with beige marble. Can not remember pure white one. You can always call them and ask.

On the way to Paralimni there are 2 or 3 garden centres, it is worth to have a look there. ( nice & close to you )

Clarissa,

Do you have a name or telephone number for them please? We will be driving that way on Sunday 1st May and wonder if they will be open.
