Unfortunately early June is not the best time for birdwatching in Cyprus as it's hot and the most interesting visitors have already made their way to the summer breeding grounds further north.

However the reservoirs and what marshland there is are the often the best places to see birds.

Kuskor are planning their last birdwatching trip this season for Saturday May 7th going to the Karpas... cost is 40TL including coach from Catalköy at 7am (got to be an early start to make the day-trip worthwhile). BYO Picnic.

Anyone interested can email info@kuskor.org

Martin,

I've just been contacted by someone (a good guide) who is planning some birding trips for early June I've passed on your email address to him so that he can tell you what he has planned.
