I think Yummies is possibly the best place for burgers on the island. I just ordered a Double Yummie Burger and it was great. Highly recommended .....

Have eaten there also but only the Pizza, use Lapta one as closer to where we stay, looking forward to one in May.

Best burger (home made) in my opinion are the ones that Sue at the Hut does!! I normally hate burgers but love hers!

I would also recommend the ones at Levant in Karaman, quite a sophisticated plate and served in the courtyard with scenery overlooking Girne and beyond - heaven! It is also a most beautiful village to walk round afterwards to work off some of the food and the Efes!

I love Yummies (Alsancak) because it makes me feel at home...a bit. But I have yet to find to best Burger joint on the island. It would be nice to have a fresh made burger patty instead of the pre-formed ones that everyone on the island uses. As far as service goes, Yummies is cool and the beers are cold.

I agree with Msg 9. Johnny Rockets American Diner in Famagusta - the burgers are delicious mmmmmmmmm and the milk shakes are to die for !!!
